Water cooled and air cooled, which air compressor is better?
Water-cooled cooling method is to use the fluidity and temperature difference of cooling water to keep the temperature of air compressor equipment within a certain range. However, when using water-cooled equipment, a cooling water tower pump must be installed, and the water-cooled equipment is not too high and stable on the environment. If small equipment (below 50PH) is air-cooled, large equipment proposes that water cooling will be stable. Its advantages and disadvantages are as follows:
Advantages:
1. Because cooling water has a certain cleaning function, it can clean the inside of the equipment when it flows inside the air compressor. It is helpful to prolong the maintenance and cleaning cycle of equipment and improve the quality of compressed gas;
2. The water cooler has good adaptability to climate change, and it can adapt to the strong change of temperature by increasing or decreasing the water pressure;
3. Dusty environment, such as textile, spraying, carbon black, self-compacting powder and other industries, using water cooler is more reliable;
4. Oil side of water cooled machine is easy to clean, but air-cooled machine can't do that.
Disadvantages:
1. Limited by water resources, the scope of application is relatively narrow;
2. Cooling water may contain calcium, plasma, and these things are easy to react in the cooler due to high temperature, and then form scale in the cooler, thus affecting the cooling efficiency of the cooler.

Advantages:
1. The great advantage of air-cooled cooling mode is that it is not affected by the environment due to cooking, and it can be used in almost any area;
2. The capital investment is small and can be transferred.
Disadvantages:
1. If the surrounding air quality is not good, it is easy to pollute the whole air compressor and compressed air, so in order to avoid this situation, it is recommended to add filtering equipment;
2. If it is used in a closed space, it is recommended to install air intake and exhaust equipment;
3. The cooling effect and quality are not as good as water cooling.
If it is not in a particularly water-deficient environment, it is recommended to choose water-cooled type first, because air-cooled type is simple in structure and low in investment, but it is mostly used in small air compressors because of limited conditions and poor heat dissipation effect. Although the structure of water-cooled compressor is complex and the technical requirements are high, it has obvious heat dissipation effect, easy adjustment and reliable operation, so large and medium-sized air compressors use water-cooled compressor.
