Causes of oil shortage in oil-injected screw air compressor
During the operation of the oil-injected screw air compressor, if there is less lubricating oil, it may be caused by the following reasons:
1. Blockage of oil circuit: There are impurities or deposits in the oil circuit, which makes the lubricating oil unable to flow smoothly, thus reducing the oil quantity.
2. Bearing wear: The bearing of screw air compressor will wear with the increase of service time. When the bearing wears to a certain extent, it will lead to the leakage of lubricating oil from the bearing end cover, thus reducing the oil quantity.
3. Oil seal aging: The oil seal is an important part to keep the lubricating oil sealed. If the oil seal is aging or damaged, the lubricating oil will leak from the oil seal and the oil quantity will be reduced.
For these problems, we can take the following maintenance and solutions:
1. Replace the lubricating oil and filter element regularly: Replace the lubricating oil and clean the filter element regularly to ensure the smooth oil passage and prevent the oil passage from being blocked.
2. Check the bearing condition regularly: check the wear of the bearing regularly. If excessive wear is found, replace the bearing in time to maintain the normal use of lubricating oil.
3. Replace the oil seal regularly: replace the oil seal regularly to avoid the aging and damage of the oil seal and ensure the sealing and stability of the lubricating oil.
It is very important to maintain the stable operation and normal lubrication of the machine for the oil-injected screw air compressor. Therefore, it is suggested to carry out maintenance according to the specified maintenance cycle and deal with the problem of less lubricating oil in time to prolong the service life of the machine.
